PUERTO RICO AAU GRAND PRIX

Competition and Check-in will be held at the Puerto Rico Convention Center in San Juan.

Check-In:          February 3 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm 

A team representative must check-in the team during this time. The team should print out their roster from the online system and bring to check-in.  Be sure all uniform numbers are listed. Athletes do not need to attend. 

Competition:     February 4-5

Saturday Pools:  AM Wave begins at 8am.  PM wave begins at 3pm.

 > Info Packet & Rules - Review for tournament information & rules. 

Each team must provide 1 qualified down ref with a whistle, 2 lines and 2 scorekeepers.  For information on keeping score, please review the USA Volleyball Scorekeeper Clinic Powerpoint Presentation.  There will be clinic on Friday at 6:30 pm. Team are not required to attend.  Limited space is available.  Please RSVP by Feb 1 to melaniea@orlandosportscenter.com.  The clinic is for scorekeeping only, not refereeing.

> Update your Team Roster  - Print your team roster and bring to check-in.  Changes can be made up until check-in.  Uniform numbers are required.

> Spectator tickets will be available for $7.00 per day.

>  Age determination date is Sept 1.  Click here for age limits. College students and professional players are not eligible to participate.

Email melaniea@orlandosportscenter.com your team name and age division if you are planning to play. There are limited number of spots available. Entry is not guaranteed until the entry fee has been received.

Participants must be members of AAU.  Club membership is $30, athlete membership is $12, non-athlete membership is $14. Click Here to join.

 Please note: You do not have to complete your entire roster in order to sign up for the tournament.  Once you have your 2012 AAU club membership, you can submit your tournament entry fee to hold your spot.  You can come back prior to Jan 20 to complete AAU membership for athletes/coaches and to sumbit your team roster.

PLAY FOR A FREE ENTRY TO THE AAU NATIONALS IN ORLANDO!

The winning team in each age division with 10 or more teams will have their entry fee waived for the AAU Nationals in Orlando, FL.  For divisions with less than 10 teams, a portion of the entry fee will be waived based on the number of teams.  Winning the Grand Prix does not mean automatic entry into Nationals.  All AAU National requirements must be met and the team must enter by the entry deadline.
