MACCABI USA SEEKING JEWISH VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS

Philadelphia, PA, December 5th – Maccabi USA is seeking Jewish Volleyball players, ages 15 and older, and volunteer staff to represent the United States  at the 13thPan American Maccabi Games in Santiago, Chile, December 28th 2015- January 4th 2016. 

Lou Moyerman, the General Chairman of Maccabi USA’s Pan American Maccabi Games Organizing Committee, is working to appoint qualified athletes to represent the United States in Volleyball and Beach Volleyball.

“The Maccabi Games are extremely important to me because they build Jewish pride,” Moyerman says. “The Games provide Jewish athletes from the USA the chance to represent their country in an international sporting competition while bonding with their fellow Jewish athletes from the USA and around the world.”

Maccabi USA is scheduled to compete in the Open Men’s and Women’s Volleyball division, for those ages 18-35, as well as in the Open Men’s Beach Volleyball Division.  Maccabi USA will also field a Youth Women’s Volleyball team, for those born from 1997-1998.  Applications for the Games are available online now at www.maccabiusa.com.
