Four (4) coaches from AAU programs were honored as 2022 National Winners of PCA’s Double-Goal Coach® Award presented by TeamSnap.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Four (4) coaches from AAU programs were honored as 2022 National Winners of PCA’s Double-Goal Coach® Award presented by TeamSnap. These four coaches were chosen from Positive Coaching Alliance's 100 regional winners, which is a huge accomplishment.

Ryan Blackwell coaches wrestling in Florida, Craig W. Covington coaches basketball in Michigan, Leon Davis coaches volleyball in Florida, and James "Jay" Waggoner coaches basketball in Virginia.

The national winners each receive $500 and recognition on PCA's website and media campaigns. And, thanks to the generosity of the Taube Family Foundation, one special coach will win the Taube Family Prize in Recognition of Excellence in Coaching and be named PCA’s National Coach of the Year.

The $10,000 prize will be awarded later this spring, and includes $2,500 to the coach and $7,500 to the youth sports organization or school of their choice.
