MOUNTAIN WEST CHAMPIONSHIPS IS HUGE SUCCES

The 2016 Mountain West Championships AAU Grand Prix was another huge success.  

There were 71 teams competing in U12, U14, U16 and U18 divisions.  Colstrip defeated Rimrock-Hailey in a very competitive U12 championship match.  The Project Spikers club out of Huntley had an impressive showing at the events, winning both the U14 and U16 division.  The U16 Project Spikers team will take advantage of the free entry into the AAU Girls' Junior National Volleyball Championship in Orlando, Fla. this summer. We are proud to have them represent Montana in Orlando.  Rimrock, the host club, was able to cap off the tournament by winning the U18 championship.   The tournament was a huge success and full of top-notch, competitive volleyball.  We appreciate all the teams and fans that attended this year and we invite any other teams next year to be a part of the 2017 Mountain West Championships.
