The 14u and 15u divisions closed out Day One of the 2015 AAU Volleyball championship matches. Last year, Mizuno Northern Lights dominated the 15u age division, placing teams in all four divisional finals (Open, Premier, Club, Classic). It was a different story in 2015 as they only had one team left standing on championship day (in the premier division). Then there’s TBVA. They took home the 2014 AAU 14u Open National Championship title and were looking to take home the 2015 AAuU 15u Open national title. Who walked away champions in the 14u and 15u divisions? Below is a breakdown of the results.

15u Premier: The reigning 15u Premier champions, Mizuno Northern Lights, hit the court versus Tri-State Elite in search of their club’s second 2015 AAU championship on the day (sister team clinched 2015 18u Premier title). Northern Lights would go on to defend their title, defeating Tri-State Elite 25-17, 25-20.
15u Classic: A5 Mizuno Dan defeated Club 1 in straight sets 25-16, 25-22 to clinch the 2015 title.
