Club Dominican Remains Undefeated at 45th Girls Junior National Championships

Club Dominican Republic continues to lead the divisions; has yet to drop a set during competition thus far

ORLANDO, Fla (June 26, 2018) - Day two of competition continued with pool play, with only one team finishing the day still undefeated: Dominican Republic (6-0).  Club Dominican Republic continues its dominance, still undefeated after two days of competition and has not dropped a set yet.
 
The morning kicked off with two close 3-setters between China/Israel and Puerto Rico/Brazil. With the narrow win over Brazil (15-13), Puerto Rico secured second place in the pool heading into Day 3.
 
Pool play concluded with the two Colombian teams facing off. After trading sets, Pony’s Club took the third 15-10 over Sport Voyager.
 
Once again, Dominican Republic dominated their competition, all in straight sets. Look for a potential even matchup tomorrow as Brazil takes on Dominican Republic at 10:00 AM EST on the livestream at aauvolleyball.org/livestream.
