The largest volleyball event in the world returns once again for the 51st time.

Orlando, Fla. (June 6, 2024) – The 2024 AAU volleyball season is coming to a close, with this year’s biggest event approaching rapidly. The largest volleyball event in the world returns once again for the 51st time. The AAU Girls’ Junior National Volleyball Championships will kick off next weekend June 13, and run all the way through June 28th. More than 117,000 athletes and coaches, representing all 50 states, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands, will make the trip to Orlando Florida for their chance to win one of the AAU’s most prestigious events.

With over 4,600 girls’ teams, this year’s event will be split into four different waves. Each wave will the players represented will be listed below;

Wave 1 June 13-16: 10U, All 11U, All 12U, All 13U, All 14U, 18U Open, 18U Premier
Wave 2 June 17-20: All 15U, 18 Club, 18 Classic
Wave 3 June 21-24: All 16U
Wave 4 June 25-28: All 17U



AAU is again partnering with the Side-Out Foundation as part of the AAU Cares initiative to raise money for breast cancer research through “Dig Pink” campaigns. All volleyball participants are encouraged to wear pink for AAU’s Dig Pink Days. The specific days are as follows:

Wave 1: Friday, June 14th
Wave 2: Tuesday, June 18th
Wave 3: Saturday, June 22nd
Wave 4: Wednesday, June 26th

AAU will host a coach’s seminar for all girls’ coaches on June 22nd at 4 P.M. 4-Time Olympian and 2008 Olympic gold medalist Lloy Ball, and head recruiting coordinator for Team Pineapple VBC Kourtney Crawford will be speaking. We invite all coaches to come out to learn about all the best practices in coaching and recruiting for your teams!





This year brings some new added excitement to the AAU Junior National Volleyball Championships. Our new mascot Ace #AAUAce will be hopping around the venue for the entire event. Also new to the event this year will be the AAU Volleyball scavenger hunt giveaway. There are four unique backdrops hidden around the Orange County Convention Center.
