Facility Info. / Directions / Parking

The 2018 AAU Junior National Volleyball Championships will be held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and the Orange County Convention Center. Teams may have matches at either or both venues. Additional sites may be added as needed.


ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

Competition will take place in the HP Field House and the Visa Athletic Center. A total of 18 courts will be used.

  • Directions:
    • ESPN Wide World of Sports is located at 700 S. Victory Way, Kissimmee, FL 34747
  • Parking:
    • General parking is free and valet parking is available on select event dates for a fee.
  • Facility Information:
    • No ball handling is permitted inside the facility.
    • Facility rules are subject to change.

Orange County Convention Center

Courts 19 to 172 will be located at the Convention Center in the North and South Halls. Entrances and ticket sales will be located on both the North and South Concourses.

  • Parking & Directions:
    • A special daily parking rate of $10 per day will be available during the event. This does include re-entry on the same day. You must save your receipt for re-entry.
    • Parking is available in the North Lot, South Lot, Destination Parkway Garage and the Watson Lot (behind the Hyatt Regency).
    • Take advantage of Shuttle Service from the Destination Parkway Garage.
  • Travel Advisory: Event traffic should use Beachline Expressway Exit #2. If traveling on Sand Lake Blvd, use Universal Blvd to the Convention Center.
    • Large crowds are expected. Parking maps and directions will be posted soon!
  • Facility Information:
    • Coolers are not permitted inside the competition hall; however, there are unsecured cooler storage rooms on the concourse. Any coolers left unattended are not the responsibility of AAU, ESPN Wide World of Sports, or the Orange County Convention Center.
    • No ball handling is permitted inside the Convention Center.
    • No outside chairs are permitted inside the Convention Center.

Opening Ceremonies

The Opening Ceremonies will take place on Saturday, June 16 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The Complex will open at 5:00 pm. Team march-ins will begin at 7:00 pm (weather permitting) at Champion Stadium. Large crowds are expected, so it is recommended to arrive early.

  • Tickets
    • Players and coaches must have their credentials to get into the Complex.
    • Spectators can purchase a length-of-event pass that includes admission to the Opening Ceremony. Length-of-event passes will be available for sale all day at both ESPN Wide World of Sports and the Orange County Convention Center, so make sure to stop by and get your tickets early to avoid the lines!
  • Parking
    • Guests and teams can park at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. There is no charge for parking. Please be prepared for heavy traffic and follow all posted signs.

  • AAU Volleyball and Feeding Children Everywhere are partnering together to package 40,000 healthy meals for hungry children all around the world! There will be great music, good fun and a volunteer experience like no other!

The Side-Out Foundation

  • AAU Volleyball is excited to partner with The Side-Out Foundation for the second year in a row! AAU Volleyball is challenging all participating teams to raise money for stage IV breast cancer research. The top fundraising team will be rewarded with a free entry to next year's AAU Girls' Junior National Volleyball Championships. Donations made through June 28, 2018 to be considered for the prize. The winning team will be announced by the end of June.
  • Dig Pink Days: Show your support by wearing something pink on the days below. All uniform requirements must still be adhered to on these days. Don't forget to share your pictures online with #AAUDigsPink.
